Lisbon the lovely, Lisbon the fair, never to have seen her is to miss something rare. All about my adopted home town of 28 years, Portugal's capital city from the eyes of a new Alfacinha/Lisboeta who was born and bred in Burn's country, Scotland.
Or to high parapets from where to view the city in all her diversity.
From Grandeur to -
the spectacular of the new
From the influence of the old to -
Lisbon is not only about the old but also the modern cathedrals of the present that make this city so interesting.
Looking out to the river to the sea of straw, with sails on their roof they mark the old Expo 98 site. Best seen coming on the Vasco da Gama bridge from the south.
